How to play
Hosts planning a Thanksgiving gathering

Match your gathering
Edit food names and traditions to fit your guests. These are dinner and seasonal words, not a history lesson. Print different cards and a single caller list.
Draw a dinner word
Cut out the caller list and mix the slips. Read one at a time, leaving drawn slips on the table. A word counts when it is called, even if that food is not on your menu.
Check and continue
Check a completed row, column, or diagonal against the drawn slips. Continue for another winner or clear the cards and return all slips for a fresh round.
- Schedule the game before serving or after clearing dishes so cards have a dry place to sit.
- Use a 3 × 3 grid for a quick round between other activities.
Before you print
Can I adapt it for Canadian Thanksgiving?
Yes. The list contains meal and autumn words without a date. Replace menu items or activities with those your guests recognize.
Is it a gift-opening or observation game?
The default rules use a caller. If you prefer a dinner observation game, replace the list with actual planned moments and switch the caller sheet off.
How do I save my cards as a PDF?
