Personalize the season
Use the word list as a starting point and replace items to match your gathering. You can rename the card and use your own holiday or winter vocabulary. Choose the card count and paper size.
Prepare a complete set
Print different cards for the players and keep the item list switched on. Cut the list into slips and mix them in a container. Give everyone a way to mark their card.
Play a round
Read one randomly drawn word at a time. Players mark matching squares. Agree on a line or another pattern before starting, and keep the called words so the winning card can be checked.
- For repeated rounds, use counters so the same cards can be cleared and reused.
- The full 32-word pool offers more variation than a list containing exactly enough words for one card.
Before you print
Can I use these for a winter party?
Yes. Replace Christmas-specific items with your own winter words and change the title. Review the list for the setting and the people playing.
Can I make a short game?
Choose 3 × 3 and play for one line. Actual playing time depends on the word pool, number of players, and pace of calling.
How do I save my cards as a PDF?
Use Print / Save PDF, then choose Save as PDF in your browser’s print dialog. Choose A4 or US Letter in the editor first, and turn off browser headers and footers. Reloading or leaving this page clears your edits, so save your PDF before you go.
