How to play

Wedding guests during cocktail hour
15–25 minutes

01

Choose welcoming prompts

Review the list for your guest group and replace anything that may feel too personal. Print one card per player. The 3 × 3 starting grid has a free center, so guests need eight matches to fill the card.

02

Ask, then mark

Guests talk to someone who may match a square. After the guest agrees, write their first name or initials, or simply tick the square after spoken confirmation. Anyone may pass. Use each person only once on a card so no single guest fills the whole card.

03

Finish a line

A row, column, or diagonal is bingo. Keep the game optional and let conversations continue naturally. Guests can show a completed line to the host during a convenient break.

Before you print

How is this different from wedding reception bingo?

Find the Guest bingo starts conversations with other guests. Wedding reception bingo is an observation game about events such as speeches, music, and cake.

Can we play without writing names?

Yes. Agree that a spoken confirmation lets the player tick the matching square instead.

Does this game need a caller?

No. Guests move at their own pace and find people who match the prompts. The optional caller list can stay off.

How do I save my cards as a PDF?

Choose A4 or US Letter, then use Download PDF to save your set. Print opens your browser’s print dialog instead. Your latest draft is saved in this browser when storage is available; download a PDF to keep a separate copy or send the cards to someone else.
